After the October half term break our topic was Diwali. The Children enjoyed playing with colourful rice, they did some lovely colouring, they listened to music and played music instruments, made lots of lovely colourful and shiny collages, plus lots more. Here are a few photos that we would like to share with you.

All about me (October 2022)

Our first term we learn about ourselves and how diversity we all our……
we started with our faces. Sticking eyes, nose and mouth do we know where they go children?

We did lots of playing and having fun with our new friends, learning the nursery routine and building a relationship with our key workers.

We all played outside

meeting the school animals
We have chickens and guinea pigs in the Nursery playground, we feel good when they run over to us because we feed them our left over snack every day. The children learn how to care for animals, feeding them and keeping them clean, which in return helps promote certain social values and skills in children. Having pets supports a child by developing empathy and emotions.

We did some great work with our focused topic diversity, using all the different colours of Elma ……
