Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been having so much fun learning All About Me and discovering all the amazing things we can do, even at just 2 years old!
Our little learners have been busy exploring their world through play and creativity. We’ve enjoyed:
Sharing books together – such as Elmer’s Colours and Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes.
Creating wonderful collages – sticking, layering, and expressing ourselves with colours and textures.
Squishing and shaping playdough – making all sorts of fun shapes and strengthening our little fingers.
Balancing along beams – showing off our coordination and confidence.
Climbing on the climbing frame – building strength and independence with every step.

One of our favourite activity has been making handprints and footprints. The children love seeing their own marks on paper and noticing how different they all are.
It’s a lovely way for them to learn that everyone is special and unique, no two prints are the same, just like no two children are the same.

We have also had a brilliant time singing, dancing, and learning about our bodies. Action songs like Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and The Hokey Dokey make learning so much fun. Well done to our 2 year olds, you are all wonderful and take everything in your stride.
